If something on GardenLea is wrong, unclear, or missing, I want to know. This site's whole premise is that it should be more useful than the scattered, marketing-driven advice that made me build it — and reader messages are the fastest way to find out where it isn't.
Every message sent here is read.
How to reach me
[CONTACT METHOD — owner to confirm]
This block is a placeholder. Replace it with the contact method you'd like readers to use — an email address you're happy to publish, or a contact form. Please don't publish this page until it's filled in: several of GardenLea's legal pages already send readers here to exercise their privacy rights, and they need a route that works.
What to get in touch about
Corrections and errors. The most valuable message you can send. If you've spotted a wrong specification, an outdated price, an instruction that doesn't work, or a safety detail that's incomplete, please point me at the specific page and tell me what's wrong. Clear factual errors are corrected promptly. How corrections are handled is set out in the Editorial Policy.
Reader experience with a tool. If you own one of the tools this site covers and know something the spec sheet doesn't show — how it holds up in year three, what breaks first, what the manual doesn't tell you — that's worth more than any amount of research. See How I Review Products for why.
Questions about gardening or tools. If a guide left you with a question, ask. A question that isn't answered on the site is a gap in the site.
Privacy and data requests. If you'd like to know what data GardenLea holds about you, request a correction or deletion, or exercise any right under the GDPR or the CCPA, this is the route. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy, which sets out your rights and states an aim of responding to privacy inquiries within 5 business days.
Suggestions for what to cover. If there's a gardening problem or a tool category you can't find a straight answer on anywhere, tell me. Those make the best articles.
Republishing, licensing, or collaboration. Content here is protected, but if you'd like to quote, republish, or license something, ask rather than assume. Terms are in the Terms & Conditions.
Copyright and DMCA notices. If you believe content here infringes your copyright, get in touch with a description of the work, the specific URL, your contact details, and a good-faith statement, as set out in the Terms & Conditions. All legitimate notices are investigated.
Partnership and sponsorship inquiries. These are welcome, with one condition stated up front: sponsorship buys clear labeling and nothing else. It doesn't buy a positive verdict, editorial approval, or a place in a buying guide. If a product can't be covered honestly, the partnership gets declined. See the Disclaimer.
What to expect
- General inquiries: the Terms & Conditions state an aim of responding within 2–3 business days.
- Privacy and data-rights requests: the Privacy Policy states an aim of responding within 5 business days.
- Corrections: read as they arrive.
I'd rather answer a question than have you go elsewhere for a worse answer.
Please note
This site cannot give you personal professional advice. I am not a licensed horticulturist, arborist, landscaper, or safety professional, and GardenLea can't diagnose your specific situation by message.
- For a plant health problem or a complex landscaping project, your local extension service or a licensed professional will beat anything I can offer remotely — they can see your soil and your climate.
- For tree work, storm damage, work at height, or any job beyond your skill level, hire a licensed professional.
- For chemical exposure, plant toxicity, or an allergic reaction — in a person or a pet — contact a healthcare provider, a vet, or poison control immediately. Please don't wait for a reply to a message. Nothing on this site is worth that delay.
Product support and returns are handled by the manufacturer or the retailer you bought from. GardenLea is an independent content site — it doesn't sell, ship, or service any product, and it can't help with an order, a warranty claim, or a return.
